Camp Highland's Partners

Camp Highland shares its beautiful and historic setting with the Highland Springs Resort and Conference Center, a California Historic Landmark that provides facilities to groups and individuals seeking a retreat from urban life. Located on 900 beautiful acres of chaparral, Highland Springs Resort has hotel rooms, catering, and group retreat facilities. For complete information, see the Highland Springs Resort website.

The first location permanently settled by non-natives in all of Riverside County in 1853, the Highland Springs Resort has existed in most of its current fashion since becoming the Highland Guest Ranch in 1884. It still retains much of its historic charms and personality for the guests and conference groups who use the facilities throughout the year.

Also located on property is 123 Farm, which is responsible for one of the largest organic lavender farms in the country. 123 Farm currently consists of 12-15 acres of organic herbs, including its famous lavender, rosemary, sage, peppermint, oregano, tea tree, and chamomile. 123 Farm grows, harvests and distills its herbs by hand right on the Resort property, creating some of the most pure and high-quality products you can buy anywhere, including oils, hydrosols, soaps, and culinary treats. Each year in June they hold an amazing Lavender Festival, drawing several thousand visitors from all over Southern California.

123 Farm also manages dispersed fruit trees on the property including persimmon, japanese apricot, lemon, orange, pomegranate, olive and fig trees. The entire property is totally free of pesticides, artificial fertilizers, and which are adapted to our semi-arid environment.

Also located on the property, aligned with Highland Springs Resort and Conference Center, is the Team Development Center. TDC brings private and corporate groups in to learn how to work as a team, set goals and overcome challenges on our Low Challenge Course, Alpine Tower and High Challenge Course Elements, the very same equipment Camp Highland's fifth and sixth graders learn on during the school year! For more information on TDC, contact Tom at Highland Springs Resort and Conference Center.
